It is exam week and I had my switcher and inscriber practical test. Everyone was getting very worried and had to book a couple of labs in order to practice for the test. Although my section did the test the first week I was not as nervous as I should of been because I am normally a calm person. I guess being calm and having confidence gets me through since I only missed one mark on the inscriber and got perfect on the switcher!
Its time for the exams and major assignments to start and this is my Creative Team group and I working in the studio room. We are rehearsing for our show called "Caught in College."
Since it's a long weekend I decided I would sleepover at my friend's house. We went to downtown Toronto and learned how to take the GoBus and the Subway. I had a wonderful time with my friend. We were eating the whole day in downtown!
Being involved in Deca was an amazing opportunity. It was great to see young entrepreneurs of tomorrow dressed up in fancy business attire. I got to stay at the beautiful Sheraton hotel and experience the exciting things Toronto has to offer. One of things that took my breath away was the stunning view I had from my hotel window. Waking up and going to bed beside the CN Tower was incredible!
The weekend after exams are done I find myself wandering the kitchen, trying to figure out what I should do to pass time. Unfortunately, Canadian winter makes it harder to leave the house without looking like the snow monster as soon as you walk outside. Since there is a sudden snow storm today, I decided to steal my dad's comfy recliner to curl up with a 10 pound book and a giant jug of water.
